Group B driving licence - manual transmission

The most classic of all driving licences is the Group B licence. If you choose one with a manual gearbox, you shift gears yourself. After successfully obtaining your licence, you can drive motorbikes with automatic transmission, engine capacity up to 125 cc and power of 11 kW, in addition to vehicles up to 3,500 kg. It is also possible to attach a trailer to the car, but you must ensure that the total weight of the rig does not exceed 3 500 kilograms.

Group Ba driving licence - automatic transmission

An increasingly popular option in recent times. If you don’t want to stress about shifting gears, the solution is to get your licence in a vehicle with an automatic gearbox and concentrate only on the steering wheel and pedals. In the future, you can always complete one practical driving test with a manual and get a full Group B licence.

If you already have a driving licence for a car, you may definitely benefit from adding a Group E licence. This gives you permission to tow a trailer of the same maximum weight behind your car up to 3,500 kilograms. You will typically use this for transporting other cars, for example.
